Trail Description The Spring Grove Sawmill Horse Trail is a beautiful horse and horse-drawn wagon trail located in scenic southeast Minnesota. The trailhead is located just East of Spring Grove, MN at the Farmer's Coop Elevator. Please park in the designed parking area. The trail mowed and well marked, with some small climbs, and winds through mostly wooded areas. There are scenic overlooks and abundant wildlife and wildflowers to see.
Best Time to Visit May through October
Times to Avoid
Campground There is no campground, but overnight stays are permitted on the grassy area at the trailhead. Trail flyers/map is available at the trailhead. Horse boarding/training is available at Sundance Stables, located 1/2 mile off the trail. Call Troy or Sue at 507-498-5950 for more information.

Directions The trailhead is located on Hwy 44 just east of Spring Grove, MN. It is about an hour drive from Decorah, IA, Rocheser, MN or LaCrosse, WI.
